Website | EmailStanding under the immense canopy of a Burr Oak, one almost expects to hear the chattering of squirrels. Moments later, beside the South American Jelly Palm, you could be forgiven for anticipating the screeching of monkeys. Instead, you hear Kookaburras, Galahs and Rainbow Lorikeets. Whether strolling through Australian Silver Mallee, relaxing in the shade of an English Elm, or inhaling the pungent aroma of the Cyprus and Candle Pines, bird-song will follow you. Established in 1928, this beautiful park is also a reference collection of over 2,500 labeled trees and shrubs from around the world.
