The Henschke family have been producing wine in the Barossa since 1868 and winemaker Stephen Henschke--with viticulturist wife Prue managing the vineyards--is carrying on the tradition in fine style. Although famous for its hallowed Shiraz, Henscke's also nurture pinot noir, chardonnay and merlot in their cooler-climate vineyards. Their flagship red wine, Hill of Grace, is known and respected throughout the world.
