Adelaide's original Thai restaurant, the Bangkok, is credited with being single-handedly responsible for the growth in popularity of Thai cooking in Adelaide. The menu includes traditional Thai cuisine--arguably still the best Thai food in town--with an accent on fresh herbs and fragrant spices. You can always rely on some very fine curries, as hot as you can take it or as mild as you like. An AUD7 corkage charge applies if you bring your own wine.
