WebsiteThis 1850, heritage-listed hotel was named after Irish patriot, Daniel O'Connell (1775-1847) - a committed peace protester who advocated the idea of "talk, not war." An authentic Irish pub, the decor and fittings were imported from Dublin in a 40-foot container. There is a friendly and genuinely Irish atmosphere, with the bar staff chosen specifically for their Irish heritage. A 150-year old pepper tree shelters the delightful beer garden. The Irish/Australian restaurant offers dishes ranging from Annie Killow's Bangers and Mash to Kildare Kangaroo Fillet. There are 11 beers on tap, including traditional Irish favorites.
