But if you’re looking for a club that hails back to the British Raj, you’re at the right place. Opened by Tom Hannah, who has a passion for Rudyard Kipling, the Bombay Club opened in 2002 and has been a hit with members ever since. Here members can have a drink, drop into the club restaurant or take a private space and relax with close friends. The bar is named Riki Tiki Tavi Bar (the mongoose from Jungle Book) and has over 100 international beers to choose from including a menu that is a mixture of contemporary and traditional fare. At the Gungadins restaurant which is built on three levels you can either have your meal in one of the small private rooms or overlooking the waterfall that cascades down in the atrium. If you want something a bit more casual check out the Taj Gaming lounge, equipped with games,lounge chairs and a fully stocked bar! The club also has facilities to host special occasions, but a reservation must be made.
