Website | EmailSince 1948, this lyrical art event has been internationally successful thanks to the great singers who have appeared here; Monserrat Caballe Gabriel Bacquier and Regine Crespin have thrilled music lovers from all over the world. Scenery and costumes have been designed by such great artists as Balthus and Derain, to name only the most famous, and the courtyard inside the Archbishop's Theatre provides its own natural backdrop for the productions. Since 1988, festival director Stephane Lissner has put on baroque music and, more recently, Mozart produced by Peter Brook.
