WebsiteThis museum is dedicated to the traditional folk art of the Aix region. It is housed in one of the impressive 18th-century residences that are so typical of the artchitecture of the period. The collections include household items, pottery, incredible hand-painted clay figures called "santons," popular religious items, pictures and costumes. You can also see astonishing articulated marionettes made from wood. The museum often hosts exhibitions on particular themes, especially concerning the rich history of the city and the surrounding area. Admission: EUR 2.
