Website | EmailThis annual parade, occurring each August, takes pride in being one of the few traveling festivals remaining in the world. This is an unusual circus, however: it is designed to be inside out, with the public placed in the middle of the action, surrounded by the performers. Small colorful tents encircle the terrain of Martin Luther King Park. The Parade presents 75 different programs, featuring music, dance, theatre, magic, art, animation and other spectacles. Special children's programs are offered. See website for yearly details. Come December there's the winter version of this festival, aptly-named Winterparade.
