This well-known and growing film festival recently attracted 350,000. Low-budget productions make up a sizable portion of the program, with dozens of mostly Dutch entrants competing for three VPRO Tiger Awards for young filmmakers. Other awards reflect the favorite films of the audiences, and of the Dutch Film Critics Circle. Tickets are available through the Web site.
