Website | EmailEvery year in November, over forty museums in Amsterdam open their doors for visitors at night, to view the huge array of cultural and historic displays. The museums are illuminated and the city is doused in the scintillating lighting. Live musical performances, readings and poetry sessions, dance and theatrical shows, gourmet delights are the highlights of the night. The Jewish Historic Museum, the Institute of Media Arts Museum and the Amsterdam Photography Museum are some of the participants. Buses and trams are functional in the night for commuting.
