Website | EmailIn 1981, this Flemish cultural center was opened on the Nes. De Brakke Grond helps to integrate the culture of Flemish society into the Netherlands. Moreover, it greatly promotes Flanders. Lots of activities highlighting the Flemish element of Dutch culture take place here. This is done through tours, concerts and exhibitions, but also through literary nights and lectures. It provides a nice overview of all that Flanders has to offer.
