Website | EmailOwned by the Dutch East India Company, the Amsterdam VOC was a beauty to look at and so is its the replica moored at the pier near the Netherlands Marinetime Museum. In its times, the VOC was a 'mirror return ship', used as a means of voyage between the Dutch East India Company and the East Indies. This reliable ship met its fateful end in a shipwreck which was discovered in 1969. Visitors can take a look into the lives of the sailors in the 18th century and the technology used back then for navigation and sailing.
