The Het Lieverdje is the sculpture of a small boy that stand on Spui in Amsterdam. Revealed on May 2nd, 1959, Het Lieverdje literally mean 'The Little Darling'. This Carel Kneulman artwork, symbolizes a little boy who is up to pranks but has a heart of gold. Also known as the little rascal and often being dressed in different ways—the once kidnapped statuette, the little boy is a pleasure looking at.
