Oldest bar in Amsterdam?
Rapenburgerplein 83

Patrons claim that this is the oldest bar in Amsterdam. This title is, of course, heavily contested, but the Druif seems to have as good a case as any. Apparently it dates back to at least 1631. The mighty Heineken seems to support the Druif's claims. There is a little museum to be found in this bar where artifacts from the days this place was still a distillery can be found. The rest of the interior also relies on the good old days. It has a terrace where you can pleasantly waste away a good few hours. No music is played in the Druif. This bar is not the place to visit for a full meal, but you can get some snacks if you get the munchies.
