The stairs bring you into a French inn, which is lit by candlelight and has thick beams attached to the ceiling. The selected wines are written on blackboards and vary in price. Wine is also available by the glass or carafe. The food is tasty, but there is not a lot of choice. Prices are reasonable. A daily set menu and a vegetarian set menu is available.
