Come celebrate America's Independence Day in the last frontier's largest city. The festivities begin with a noon picnic at the Delaney Park Strip near the rose gardens, followed by a main stage reading of the Declaration of Independence. A community-wide downtown parade follows with floats and participation of area-wide businesses. Midnight fireworks fill the skies at the Anchorage port.
