Website | EmailIf you have a penchant for history and like small hotels, step into this historical landmark with its centuries-old stone walls, located in the heart of Nelson's Dockyard. Established in the 18th century, it has been fully restored and decorated in period furniture and many antiques. The 14 rooms carry Georgian war-ship names like Boreas, Victory and Royal Sovereign. All but four of the rooms are duplex-suites: bedroom upstairs, living room and fully equipped kitchen downstairs, and a shower/toilet on the private landing. The living room converts easily to another double or triple bedroom, and there is a separate door for added privacy. Though there is no air-conditioning (or TV or radio), the rooms are cool and have ceiling fans, as well as the traditional mosquito nets.
