With Dutch being the official language of Aruba, it seems somewhat fitting to see a landmark tribute to this thriving culture. The windmill was originally built in 1804, but was transported to the Island piece by piece and resurrected into its present glory in 1960. It is a popular place for tourists due to its massive platform around the windmill, and features a quaint restaurant, Destiny, which is an added draw. The restaurant is famous for its Coconut Grouper and Seafood Paella attracting many locals as well.
