Designed by British architect Richard Rees, and built on the site of an old sports complex, the Olympic Tennis Centre is a dramatic, circular shaped open dome, that almost looks like a flying saucer. The centre has sixteen fully functional courts, with the main court seating approximately eight-thousand people. The tennis centre is housed within the main Olympic Sport Centre in Maroussi.
