Website | EmailA recently opened private museum in the heart of Athens, Herakleidon Experience in Visual Arts is one of the few buildings that survives from the 1800s. Nonetheless installation of the latest security and display systems have been ensured. The museum displays both permanent paintings and temporary exhibitions of Greek and foreign artists. In addition to this the museum hosts various events such as musical performances, seminars, book and corporate presentations, literary events etc. The 3-storeyed building has basic, well lit and uncluttered rooms with a small cheerful courtyard. Do visit the museum's gift shop to take some fantastic souvenirs back with you.
