Among the excellent beaches of the Athens area, the Astir Beach Club at Vouliagmeni stands out for its facilities and the lush vegetation on the private peninsula. Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided on the fine sand beach, together with lockers, changing cabins, showers and a snack bar. Bathers can also make use of the volleyball court. The beach club offers a full range of motorised and non-motorised water sports such as windsurfing, waterskiing, jet-skiing etc. as well as lessons at the waterskiing school.
