This large beach club—operated by the Greek National Tourism Organisation (EOT)—draws even larger crowds on summer weekends. Sometimes it seems as if the whole city has dropped by for a swim on this fine sand beach surrounded by extensive gardens. Facilities such as cabanas for day use, changing cabins, showers, snack bars, umbrellas and beach chairs as well as volleyball and basketball courts may be used by bathers. The tennis courts are lit for night play until 10p. Both motorised and non-motorised watersports facilities can be found nearby.
