The traditional cafés that once graced Syntagma Square have now given way to international fast food chains. However, the one place where you can still have a cup of coffee is the Neon. Try to find a table on the upper floor—the large windows offer a good view of the square. One very good reason for entering the Neon is its display of pastries and other sweets. You can also have ice cream, juices and sandwiches as well as hot food.
