The medieval décor of Avalon is a rather unexpected feature among the trendy restaurants of Psirri, the city’s new entertainment district. This uniquely styled eatery is a most inviting place for a relaxed and informal dinner. Avalon serves a modern European-style cuisine. The main emphasis, though, is on mussels, which are served in 13 different ways. The back yard of the restaurant is used as a dining venue but also as a cocktail bar during the warm summer months.
