This site, constructed in 1938 under Mayor William B. Hartsfield, includes seven historic buildings, a 15-acre lake, acres of green space, an amphitheater and a spectacular view of Atlanta. Four of the buildings on the site have been restored to their original Spanish-mission architecture, including bell towers and archways.
