WebsiteThis arena has been the home of the yellow jackets basketball team for over five decades. It can seat up to 9,000 spectators, and is considered amongst the best facilities on the Atlantic Coast Conference. The venue has been nicknamed ‘the Thriller Dome’ as an acknowledgment to the astonishing and spectacular matches played here. During the 1996 Olympic games, the arena served as a venue for the boxing matches. The Atlanta Hawks basketball team used the venue as a transitory home for two seasons. If you have a thing for adrenaline-pumped slam-dunks, the thriller dome is the place for you!
