Year-round events include camping, hiking, picnics and parties, as well as some more adventurous gatherings like rafting, canoeing, ballooning, horseback riding and windsurfing. The club is one of the nation’s largest, with membership topping 4,000. And of course, they do ski, too, sponsoring extensive snow skiing expeditions around the Southeast and United States. For more information or to meet up with local skiers, stop by one of the club's monthly get-togethers at various restaurants and bars around town. Activity prices vary; only cash is accepted.
