This museum is located in Central Bali and comprises of two large buildings. It is one of the few places where one can view the works of Walter Spies. Pieces by Raden Saleh, Affandi and Sadali are also on display. All of the paintings are well labeled in English and Japanese. You should referably visit in the late afternoon, so that, when you have finished looking around, you can take in a traditional dance. On the grounds, you will find two cafés and a low-priced bookstore.
