Known for the style of Balinese painting called batuan, this is also the home of the ancient dance-drama Gambuh, with performances on the 1st and 15th of every month at the Pura Desa Temple. One of the shops to visit is Dewata Art Shop, specializing in wooden relief work. The Pura Puseh here has particularly fine examples of stone carvings.
