Situated behind the McDonald’s outlet on the tourists’ shopping street of Kuta, Bintang Toserba stocks a wide variety of supermarket goods-liquor, canned food, drinks, candies and the like. Foreign shoppers will find many familiar labels, as most items are imported. Maps also come in handy for tourists. Although it charges more than its counterparts in Denpasar, Bintang covers a comprehensive range, making it a good one-stop shopping venue. Stalls at the front sell original DVDs and VCDs, films, drugs and newspapers.
