Sometimes, even when surrounded by alpine majesty, you just have to see what going on in Hollywood. Lux Cinema consists of four medium-size screens and all the popcorn and giant soft drink amenities expected at a modern movie theater. Since Lux represents the only movie screens in the Banff area, don't expect to see anything other than the latest Hollywood blockbuster. Still, this is the ideal venue for the occasional guilty pleasure or mindless diversion.
