Website | EmailThis festival, which is shared by Calgary and Banff, is a celebration of the written word and one of the largest literary festivals in Canada. Novelists, children's writers, playwrights, poets, essayists and other masters of the language descend on the Banff Centre. Join the crowds as your favourite writers give readings, sign copies and engage in discussions with the public and with each other. There are plenty of activities geared toward young readers; and adults enjoy the late night poetry slams. Tickets for individual events vary.
