Centennial Park plays host to this celebration of all things Scottish. The day features a full competition of highland sports with events like heavy sports, hill run and tug o' war, as well as entertainment from piper bands, highland dancing, Clan tents, drumming and plenty of food and drink. The evening features concerts, a classical bagpipe competition and, to end things with a roar, the Alberta Spirits Ceilidh.
