A trip to Morgan Lewis Windmill provides visitors with a perfect opportunity to learn about Barbados' architectural heritage and fascinating history of sugar production. Recently restored, Morgan Lewis Sugar Mill is the largest and only complete windmill surviving in the Caribbean. It is typical of the wind-driven mills that crushed the juice from sugarcane in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Visitors can see the mill in action and taste freshly crushed cane juice during the sugarcane season. Admission is BBD10. Children pay half price.
