Website | EmailIn celebration of the nation's independence, Barbadians of all ages display their talents in this multi-faceted competition of music, dance, art, drama, creative writing, photography and culinary skills. The competition is an important starting point for many a young writer, poet or musician. The festival takes place throughout the month of November, and performances are held at various venues on the island. A gala presentation of the best of the festival is held close to Independence Day, November 30th.
