The quaint colonial style of 18th-century plantation life comes vividly to mind on a tour of this great house. Beautifully restored, the property features antique mahogany furniture, a unique collection of horse-drawn carriages and an array of household items of the time. Have lunch or tea at The Courtyard Restaurant, or enjoy the Planters Candlelight Dinner, a five-course meal served on Sunbury's 200-year-old mahogany dining table. A favourite location for weddings, Sunbury is also home to one of the events of the Barbados Jazz Festival.
