Would you like to see the surface of the moon, or take a good look at other planets? Come and stargaze at the observatory, built in 1963 and one of the few in the Caribbean. Now the headquarters of the Barbados Astronomical Society, it is open every Friday night to the public. This is perfect treat for children and an educational experience for all ages, as you get to utilize modern telescopes and learn interesting tidbits from members of the Society.
