No cherry trees still exist here—in fact, the approach to Cherry Tree Hill is a road canopied by magnificent old mahogany trees. At the end of that road, get ready for a spectacular view of the entire east coast of the island: rolling hills, rugged terrain and the raging Atlantic Ocean. This is an absolute contrast to the flat and gentle landscape of the rest of the island. To the south, you will note Chalky Mount, the second highest point on the island, where fine Barbadian pottery is made.
