This exclusive upscale property is a perfect hideaway on the island's west coast, a mere six-minute walk from several restaurants, shops and bars in historic Holetown. Built in 1970, The Sandpiper closes every year for about five weeks for refurbishment. It is a unique resort with traditional West Indian architecture and a most intimate setting in a five-acre tropical garden. Guests can choose from superior rooms and one- to two-bedroom suites.

Special Features: There are hairdryers, radios and refrigerators in all rooms. For business people there is a photocopying and fax service (fax can even be arranged ensuite.) Cribs and other baby equipment are complimentary, while nannies and baby sitters come with a fee. There are special facilities for children, although children under 12 are not allowed during the month of February. Television in guest rooms is available as an option at an additional charge of BBD90 per week. Children's rates under 12 range between BBD60 and BBD250 based on time of year and plan. Ground floor bedrooms have baths with grab bars and wide doors for easy disabled access.
