Up front, this inexpensive guesthouse exudes more bar room than beauty. Make sure you do not request room number five, as it is located right next to bar-patron bathrooms and tends to get quite noisy. But the rooms in back come with stoves, varying sizes of refrigerators, fans and private baths with hot and cold water. The bar out front can get raucous, but it is convenient for a cold drink. The St. Lawrence Gap and Dover beaches are just a block away.
