The first thing any diver should know before embarking on underwater adventures in a foreign place is where the nearest hyperbaric chamber is located. Even the most skilled SCUBA expert can rise too quickly from the deep, putting his or her health at risk. The Coast Guard Defence Force operates the emergency decompression chamber 24-hours a day and has ships, trained personnel and a helicopter to handle even the most dire situation.
