A visit to the Hasenburg will give you an authentic taste of an old Swiss pub. The food is traditional Swiss fare and consequently this restaurant has attained a sort of cult status in Basel. Nothing (and we mean nothing) in the restaurant has changed in over 40 years! Under mounted antlers, you can enjoy intimate conversation into the early hours or make new friends with fellow drinkers. Favorites include variations on traditional Rösti (a typical Swiss potato dish). The hearty beers on tap complement just about everything.
