Website | EmailThe Stadtkino (city cinema) is a truly eclectic place, which is devoted to screening films that are good, exciting and interesting. The cinema itself is pitchblack so light doesn't stand a chance when it tries to sneak in. As most of the guests are movie buffs who relish the black and white and technicolour films shown, this isn't the kind of movie theatre where you'll find people talking and being noisy. All screenings start punctually and there are no trailers. The films shown are usually not newly released; instead, the focus is on particular topic areas. The Kunsthalle also holds something here every fortnight.
