It is extremely popular with local city types and in the evenings with the smart media sets. It has also played host to luminaries from the worlds of fashion, music and politics - listing U2, John de Rocha and former American ambassadors as patrons. Relaxed and informal, the Brasserie is ideal for a protracted lunch or a relaxing, good quality evening meal. As expected Deane continues to invent and create. Food ranges from simple pasta carbonnara, to Thai fish cakes, seafood risotto, anchovy cocktail with marie-rose sauce, smoked salmon and good mozzarella, tomato and olive salads. A bottle of house wine will cost around £15.
