Website | EmailThe Lyric is a small independent theatre in Stranmillis Village, close to Queen's University. It has a strong tradition of supporting Irish playwrights, as well as being the springboard for local actors who have made it onto the bigger screen - Liam Neeson, (Michael Collins, Husbands and Wives, Star Wars), began his acting career here. It's safe to say that whatever is on while you're in town is worth seeing. There is a bar on the premises. The theatre is small and the seating steep. There is an induction loop system in the auditorium, there are signed performances and the entire complex is wheelchair-friendly.
