Website | EmailThe guest list reads something out of the Who's Who, although it is unlikely that the politicians and celebrities who stay here would be able to take advantage of the hotel's main feature: its fantastic, but hardly isolated location on Kurfürstendamm. Hotel Kempinski, which opened in 1951, was the first major hotel to be built in Berlin after the Second World War. The modern steel construction is not one of the most beautiful of buildings, but Berliners still love their flagship hotel, which they affectionately refer to as Kempi.
