And if you venture down into the gloomy backstreet, you will discover in the dim light of the gas streetlamps an orange cavern, clad in metal, with a colourful shelve full of bottles, and the real life people from the neighbourhood. Intertank -- an allusion to the filling stations along the highways cutting across Socialist East Germany -- offers an introduction to Western Berlin before the wall came down. The music is absolutely Techno-free.
