This spot is a Berlin legend. Located in Schöneberg's Goltzstraße, Café M boasts a loyal following of freakish twenty-somethings and casually dressed thirty-somethings. Older guests will hark back to the pre-Wall days, when West Berlin represented the last bastion of hedonism before the austere iron curtain cut across the continent. The no-frills interior, containing little more than the bare essentials, has hardly changed in twenty years. But the crucial point is that the beer keeps flowing with abandon.
