Once the splendour-cinema of the GDR, today the International is one of the few movie-theatres in the East part of the city, which made it through the political and economical changes successfully. The spacious interiors, the beauty of the architecture, real socialist settees and magnificent crystal chandeliers are captivating. This presents the right atmosphere for Mongay, the lesbigay Monday, when movies, relevant to the issue, will be screened. On the other days the theatres showcases mainstream Hollywood and international independents films.
