World War II put paid to that, but the theatre was brought back to life in the early 1990s and now occupies new premises close to Potsdamer Platz. Just like in the heyday of cabaret and variety theatre, today's audience can marvel at acrobats, jugglers, comedians, trapeze acts and much more. One of the highlights is the cult tenor singer Max Raabe, whose comical yet tragic songs hark back to days gone by.
